Corgigirly1997
Hi guys! I have a program with supplemental questions that I am kind of unsure/stumped on. One question asks to provide " a statement on my academic record". What should I discuss here? Their next question asks for me to talk about who I am outside of aspiring to be a PA. Should I discuss hobbies and my personality? All suggestions welcome. Thanks!
salwarahaman
About the academic record I would talk about any discrepancies you have on your transcripts and/or why you repeated a course or withdrew form a course. I talked about how I was pre-med at first then changed to pre-pa so I dropped a class I thought I did not need for PA school, but now am taking my senior year. Maybe also include the ranking of your university and talk about the rigor there and if its harder or comparable to other universities in surrounding areas. About why you're aspiring to be a PA, I mean this is kind of self explanatory. This is not where you discus hobbies, thats your personal life not your academic and career life. Here you should talk about your values and etc. and an experience that made you want to become a PA.
