I thought the website said the application opened today (6/15), but I looked yesterday and it was already open

Our first interview session is usually in mid-September. A few early-arriving, completed applications are being reviewed now but the committee starts major review in August.

If we have additional PCE hours from working over the summer, can we update them? If so, how do we do that?  I send my application in already but did not realize they were not going to be reviewed the fall.

Thank you

If you want exact stats I would have to run them but if round, ballpark numbers are ok, our typical accepted student over the past few years has cumulative and prereq GPAs around 3.55ish, GRE scores around the 50%ile, and around 2000 hours of healthcare experience.

In regards to the Personal Statement how should it be formatted? The general format for the personal statement on CASPA is a narrative essay. Should those 7 questions under the personal statement on the Seton Hall Application be used as the guide to write an essay? or are you looking for 7 direct half-page long answers to the questions?

The program is no longer in South Orange? Do students have to travel to multiple campuses?

That is correct. Last summer we moved to a new "Interprofessional Health Science" (IHS) campus off Route 3 on the border of Clifton/Nutley. You can find more info here:

https://www.shu.edu/interprofessional-health-sciences-campus/video-tour.cfm

We may occasionally hold large events - like a white coat ceremony - on the main campus in South Orange. But all didactic coursework is now on the IHS campus so students do not have to regularly travel back and forth.

People have done it either way. I have found it is a little easier to read if you break it up into sections so we know exactly which question you are responding to.

Has anyone heard about invites yet?

We are getting ready for orientation next week for the class of 2022. They start up the following week. As soon as they are up and running invites will start going out (~early to mid September).

Good luck!
