Hi quick question, I am planning on applying but I am somewhat uncertain on what the prereq form is needed for. Do I need to fill this out for every prereq required course? I did not attend a university listed on their comparison page.

You just have to fill it out if you are unsure if your courses will meet the prerequisite requirements. For example, I wasn’t sure if an exercise science course would count towards their preferred sciences section of the prerequisites since it’s pretty broad, so I filled out a form for that specific class.   Hope that made sense!

Has anyone received an email about their CASPA being received or processed? After filling out the grad school application I was sent a generic email that my app had been submitted but nothing specifically  from the PA program.

I submitted 5/27 and received the same email saying that they received my submission for the PA program. From what I can tell from last cycles forum they seem to be a bit slower than other programs in their application process. It appeared that no one received interview invites until October last cycle.

Hi! Was wondering if you guys put upper division courses for the preferred sciences section. It says to on CASPA, but does not necessitate it on their website. Thanks!

Hey there. Not necessarily. When it comes to preferred sciences, it’s the science classes outside of the required classes for admission. Hope that answered your question!

I am considering applying to NAU but I am a little confused, do all of the prerequisites need to be completed before Sept 1st or can you have some in progress?

Did anyone get the email that they do not meet the minimum requirements but they actually do? It scared me a bit but I know I have all the requirements so I emailed them back saying it was a mistake.

I was told that I did not meet the requirements for A/P. I then got a email back with a link to upload my syllabus for the courses. Everything worked out. It did take some time for them to get back to me (few days). Of the schools that I applied to, this program seems to be the only one having this problem regularly.

Anyone go to the NAU PA day? Just curious if it's more of a presentation or an event to speak with staff/admissions

Looking for help brainstorming thoughtful questions in order to get application feedback - besides "how can I make my application stronger?". There is always room for improvement, just looking for the right questions to ask.

My name is Tessa and I am currently an MA at a dermatology clinic. I am aspiring to be a PA and will be applying during the next cycle. I have worked along side PAs for about 2 years now in dermatology and have experience working in a level 1 ED. However, I am looking for any PA shadow opportunity in Arizona that is not dermatology as I want to branch out and have an understanding of what PAs do in different fields. I live in Glendale but I am willing to travel anywhere in Arizona.
If you are a PA or know a PA or any open opportunities feel free to reach out to me on here.
      Thank you!

I thought I’d start this since I didn’t see any posts about this application cycle yet. Has anyone heard back besides the normal “we received your application” email?

I thought I would start this thread since CWRU is one of my top choices! I have not submitted my application yet, but I plan to do so middle July. Good luck everyone!
