UTRGV 2019/2020 Application Cycle

I submitted my CASPA on 06/19 and paid the supplemental fee the same day but have not heard from them regards to the portal login?
I emailed them but no response. Should I call them?

I submitted the "supplemental" on 8/1 and received an email from them the same day saying "thank you for submitting blah blah blah." When I check my app status on the self service portal it says "applied- under review by admissions specialist" but I never received another email stating "Your UTRGV Graduate College supplemental application is under review by the Graduate College at this time."

I highly recommend calling instead of emailing in regards to this program. I called earlier this week and spoke to both the PA program and Graduate Admissions. After a very confusing call I am sending them new transcripts from my main university and community college, new GRE scores, and will follow up again next week. I recommend calling graduate admissions over the PA program. For some reason when I emailed they said they pull everything from CASPA but when I called they said they can not access materials through CASPA.

Did they give you a code or email to send the transcripts to? 

I emailed and they also said they will pull from caspa.

Hi Guys!

So, I just got off the phone with them about 30 min ago and they did confirm that I need to re-send my official transcripts because they are not able to pull it off from CASPA. It's a separate system that they have.  I have chosen to send them electronically and was able to input the gradapps@utrgc.edu email for the recipient on my school transcript website. I believe it's going to take about 2-3 business days for my transcripts to show on the website. 

In regards to the GRE:  The staff member that I was able to talk to was nice enough to look for my GRE scores (which i had sent in early July) and she was able to input my scores. And it now shows that my GRE scores are received in the UTRGV self service website. 

I called the number that one of you guys mentioned here on this forum (by the way thank you!) ---956 882 6552

Is there anything we need to do besides the CASPA app and the supplemental app? 

I sent in my supplemental application several weeks ago and never received any confirmation that my application was under review.

I just received an email Friday stating that my app was incomplete because I hadn't sent my transcripts to the graduate college (which I just did today - but kind of annoying because I called in June and was told I didn't need to send them directly to the school).

 

Am I missing something?

okay guys, I just called the grad college AND the PA program and spoke to Christopher. The grad college is saying to send the transcripts as soon as possible for financial aid purposes, however Chris says to not worry about this stuff until you get in!

I called the number that has been provided and I was also told to send the transcripts. I am going to send them just in case! The woman was supposed to have emailed me but she never did, does anyone have the address information and or who the recipient should be?

I sent it to GRADCOLLEGE@UTRGV.EDU  and they were able to pull it through! Make sure it is an official transcript through the college or a transcript through a transcript service.

I called in early June and they told me to send in things like transcripts once accepted. A couple days ago I received an "application under review" email.

Hi guys I had a question regarding the GRE scores, I sent my a while ago but in CASPA under Standarized tests UTRGV doesn't show up that they have received my scores. Does anybody else have this issue?

Hey, same thing happened to a lot of us in this thread. I don't think it's going to show on CASPA. Personally, I had to call 956 882 6552 and had them look for it. They were able to find my scores and they posted it on my self service application, but it still won't show on CASPA. So, as long as it shows on your self service application, you should be good.

I also received the interview this morning for September 20th, and my self service account still says “Applied”. I did not send the transcripts to the school either.
