List of Bachelor's PA programs?

Recommended Posts

Forgive me for this but my searches have been fruitless. I know there was a thread once that had a list or a link to all these and I cannot find it. Anyone remember the name of it? Getting up on 5 years as a medic so time to get it going.

Sorry again for the oft repeated question and thanks.

Keep an eye on Medex as there is movement to open a Tacoma campus in a bachelor's model as well. People in the office are saying they plan to have students in seats Sept of 2013... I am not convinced they are being a bit ambitious with that date but then again, they have been doing this a lot longer than me ;-)

Does Standford just do a cert or can you get a bachelor out of there?

Stanford has a bachelors and a masters option. The bac is through SJ State and the masters is through St Francis.

The Bachelors from SJSU is NOT a PA degree. Its a Health Sciences BS. Also it requires class time at SJSU for 2 or 3 semesters after the program IIRC, so its not really a bachelors Option for PA studies. The MMS from St. Francis is for BA/BS holders in the program.

Stanford SOM awards the Cert which is the main degree and you can opt for an AS in Primary Care From foothill (this is OPTIONAL AND NOT AUTOMATIC BUT DOES NOT REQUIRE EXTRA COURSEWORK JUST A FORMAL REQUEST) which is recognized as a PA studies degree. What i did was i got the cert and AS and SKIPPED the Bachelors at ATSU to get my masters (i graduate next June).

Pennsylvania College of Technology has a Bachelor's PA program, and the college is in bed with one of those online higher education institutions, allowing you to begin work on your Master's degree while you are a senior in your undergraduate program. This means you complete your Master's degree just one year post-college with the remainder of the online courses.
