For all those invited to the 10/31 interview, when did the program mark your app 'received'?

Same question for the November interview group if those invites have gone out yet...

I will be interviewing 10/31! They received my app on 8/26.

ACCEPTED FROM THE AUGUST 15TH INTERVIEW!  I literally could not hold back the tears, this was my third year applying and I have never felt anything like the excitement I have now.  So excite

I just received a call!!! I got accepted 😭😭🙏🏼 good luck to everyone else!! 🙏🏼

For everyone worrying about whether or not they have been denied, please stop worrying. This school in particular has only sent out two rounds of interviews (July and August) and it is still extremely

Received confirmation that my application is being processed on June 6th.

Still have not heard anything else.

Should I consider it a rejection??

So this is an assumption based on my experience last round, but from what I can tell the program keeps all of the apps they recieve open and on file until they officially fill every seat in the class. I didn't get an official rejection until their interviews closed in February.

I'm in the same boat as you this round as well, so the only conclusion I can draw is that my application has [so far] rated lower than all the candidates they've reviewed and offered interviews to. So, we're still in it, technically. But being passed up for 2 or 3 interview rounds doesn't strike me as a good sign

Just received an email that my application hs undergone an “initial review”, but all of the upcoming interview dates are full and they will contact me throughout the winter if an opportunity arises.

This was the first communication I’ve received since I submitted my app around 6/24!

I got the same email! Emailed back to find out if we’re on some formal waitlist for an interview

I got this email too. Last year I didn’t and was flat out denied so i think it’s basically a “hold” and to see how many people they end up accepting from their next few interviews!

First, I would like to start off by introducing myself.
My name is Rylie Yager and I am a junior in my undergrad at Grand Valley State University. I am majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience, minoring in Psychology and Biology with a pre - PA emphasis.
Due to the competitiveness when it comes to admissions in to PA programs, I have been attempting to prepare to become the best possible applicant for when I apply to PA programs next summer (2022). It is stressful and beyond overwhelming - especially being that I am the first member of my family to be attending college, let alone grad school. I've had to figure out everything related to college on my own; from scheduling courses to managing everything that comes along with being a college student whom has to finically support themselves simultaneously. Thus far, I feel like I have been keeping up with the punches that this new journey has thrown my way. Now, I am on a new journey to become a PA - which is terrifying but also exciting. Being that I have been working along my education journey on my own, all I know is from research that I have done myself and contacting facility at my university. But I would like to receive more input and advise that could help me - and I am sure many others - on this journey of becoming a PA. Being how competitive it is to be admitted into a PA program, I am doing all that I can think of to become a worthy applicant - and would love advise from others who are on this journey and those who have surpassed it and are willing to give advise on how to get there.
I have listed some of the things that I have done/currently doing to help prepare me for my future in a PA program, and as a PA:
      Work Experience:
      Server in a nursing home
      Receptionist in a nursing home

I am a member of AAPA and maybe I am unfamiliar with the website, but I want to make the most learning from the site and using it.
How do PA-S or PA-C use it? As a Pre-PA how can I use the site and its resources to help?
      I appreciate it!

      Hi guys,
I didn't see a new thread. Hope this helps you guys. Just like in previous years they are moving forward, but it may look a bit different because COVID seems to be slowing down. Here's the email I received on 5/11/2021. I submitted my application on 5/3/2021 and verified on 5/11/2021.

Thank you for applying to the Radford University Carilion PA program. This email is to let you know that your application is complete, has been marked as "Verified", and we have received your RU supplemental application. Your application will be put in a queue to be reviewed. You may still provide updates to your application through the CASPA website.
Once applications are reviewed, we will make decisions on whom to interview. Our earliest interview dates will be in September. As we don't yet have exact dates selected for interviews, we will likely make offers for interviews in early July at the soonest.
We will send out periodic updates to keep you apprised of your status. However, with the necessary changes in how we accomplish our tasks, those updates may not be as frequent as we would like them to be. We are happy to answer any questions that come up, and you are welcome to email me at rhadley1@radford.edu.
      Thank you,
      Bob Hadley
