Just curious if anyone who submitted after July 1 has heard anything yet? Thanks!

Verified July 10, but no response so far. According to past posts, they send out rejections pretty late. Ugh the wait...😭.

I was verified around the same time and haven’t heard anything either. I think the second round of interviews is this week. I’m not really anticipating anything for another week or two because of that? Maybe they haven’t looked into things much more until after the first 2 rounds of interviews are done? Not sure

I decided to apply and was verified today. I hope it's not too late. Do you guys think I should have bothered? I know they've only had two rounds of interviews it looks like, so hopefully they will consider my application. Good luck to those who have interviewed as well as those waiting!

Has anyone heard back yet?? I was verified 7/12... sort of freaking out 😳

I was verified around the same time and the only communication I have received was a confirmation email a few days after verification!

I just rescinded my acceptance, so hopefully that opens up the slot for someone else! My sincerest wishes for those still waiting- good luck!

Would you mind sharing some of your stats? Still waiting to hear, and am interested to hear a little about what they value in order to offer an interview.

I was confirmed on 7/5 and haven't heard anything yet. I am a second time applicant to Drexel, last year I was confirmed on 7/20 and rejected on 9/11 😬

Does anyone know how many rounds of interviews they will still do? I applied mid July and haven't heard back, I wonder how many interviews dates do they still have open?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they go until they're full, so it depends on how many spots they fill from previous interviews.

I don't know if my application was somewhat competitive enough to hang onto last year, or if they took *a LONG time to review it,* but I was confirmed in mid August and didn't get a rejection until, like, January.  So when I tell people it could be a long waiting game, I'm not kidding 😆

Hey everyone,

Anyone know if there is an accepted students page on facebook or other social media platforms? I am over-zealously, and possibly prematurely, trying to look for a roommate. Also, if anyone else is in the same boat, feel free to reach out to me. Thanks!

So I am currently trying to figure out my credits and classes for the applications but I am having a lot of trouble matching courses. My college was a private college that went by trimesters. My classes were 3 credits each and they did not offer general biology. Instead the sequence went Zoology, Cellular Biology, and Botany and they were 3 credits each. So, if a program requires 4 credits of General Biology, does this mean that those three classes will not satisfy the requirement? Will I have to retake the classes somewhere else then?

Hello everyone! I thought I would start a thread for this cycle. Waiting for my transcripts to be received by caspa and then I plan on submitting.

Hi all, can someone please tell me my chances of being invited to an interview or give me suggestions as to what I should do to improve my application? I would really appreciate any input. I’m applying next cycle (2021-2022) thank you in advance!
Btw I calculated it the way caspa would using ThePAPlatform gpa calculator.

      cGPA: 3:77
      sGPA: 3.3
      ~1400 hrs as a CNA
~200 hrs as a behavior therapist (it was cut short due to COVID and I have to move back home hours away)
I just got offered a job at the front desk at the chiropractic office I’m getting treated at (I recently got in a car accident and couldn’t get my old job back as a CNA) but this would count as HCE! I could potentially do this from May until late Sept and work ~24hrs/week.
-Medical mission trip over winter break
      -Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society
      - Multiple deans list
      - Chancellor’s award (scholarship)
-Tutored children for a semester (~50 hours)
      - Vice President of my pre-pa club, and was an intern for this club before getting accepted to this position.

      - I also plan to rack up more hours once I move back to my university
Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

Has Anyone ever got accepted without any clinical hours? Also, would shadowing a pa or working as a pharmacy technician count as clinical hours?

I had to retake one class my freshman year, and I really do not want to waste a few sentences in my personal statement to speak about it. Although, I also understand it is best to address it somewhere. Is there another place on CASPA to discuss shortcomings on your application? I do not see a place, but I want to make sure I am not missing something.
