UNT 2019-2020 application cycle

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody!

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the admissions assessment that UNT gives during the interview process? I think this is the only school that does one, and I'm completely at a loss of what to do before my interview on the 21st.

I just got the email about what to expect from the interview which they are referring to interview as the " admissions assessment". I am confused as to what they are referring to in the email when they say faculty and student panels. Does that mean interviews with a panel of faculty and students or a panel that we can ask questions like an informational session? Also, they said nothing about it being MMI in the email but I know it says MMI on their website. All they say in the email is "evaluations"..

I applied the last week of June and I  was verified the same week and I’m yet to hear from the university besides the email requesting me to pay a second application fee. Good luck

October interviewees got an email about a spot opening up for THIS Saturday, so I snagged it... but now I’m shook!

I was anticipating another month to prepare, and now I have 2 days and I don’t even know which socks to wear.

What email is this? Perhaps I missed it!

So this is probably a little weird, but the interview was actually kind of fun. There really is no way to prepare for it – just be ready to answer questions and don’t let your nerves get to you.

There’s a little bit of writing about yourself, but it’s just a paragraph or two, to text written communication, and then a few 8 minute sessions.

Oh, and dress professional but comfortable.

I have not, and from the two other folks I've talked to, they haven't either.

Which is cool, b/c I love carrying this much anxiety around at all times. It keeps me sharp!

I haven't either and two other people I've talked to as well haven't. It was around day 5 after the interview they started to send out acceptance and rejections according to last cycles forum, so any day now. Hopefully tomorrow before the weekend!

So I get a call this morning from an unknown caller ID. I excuse myself from clinic, run outside so excited to answer hoping it’s them, heart beating so fast... and it’s a scam call. So much anxiety y’all lol.

This has been happening to me all week. I don't care about affordable car insurance! I just want to know my decision haha

Wait, tell me more about this affordable car insurance. I'm hoping to spend 30 months in poverty at UNTHSC.

From years past, it looks like they usually heard back in the morning... Hoping that doesn't mean we'll have to wait until after the weekend 😔😫😫

It's looking that way. Going to be a long weekend

Anyone who has not received an interview invite, have you received a rejection notice? I keep checking my inbox but haven't heard back from them...

I havent heard anything. I emailed a few weeks ago asking for a update and they said it was still under review.
