Received an interview invite a few days ago and ended up choosing January 3rd--to anyone else that's interviewing then, I'm looking forward to meeting you! Lipscomb's one of my top choices so I'm beyond excited!!

Congrats! When did you submit your app?

For those that have already interviewed, what did y’all do to prepare for the writing samples prompts?

I actually didn't do anything to prep for it and did just fine.  I'm not even the strongest of writers either.

For those who have interviewed, can you comment on what you liked and didn’t like about the program?

I also didn’t do anything to prepare for the writing sample, I didn’t think it was too bad!

Anyone who has been accepted mind sharing their stats? Trying to plan for next years cycle!

I'm 22 years old and got a degree in Health Sciences.

GRE:  N/A (Never Took It)

Overall GPA: 3.7     Science GPA:  3.63     PCE:  1900 hrs     Shadowing:  300 hrs

I graduated college this year (2019) in August because I had to do an internship over the summer.  I applied in early June.  All of my PCE was from being an EMT.  My LORs were from the PA I shadowed, a fellow firefighter coworker, and a health science professor from my college.

What I liked about Lipscomb is the amount of love they have for everyone.  They go as far as they can to welcome you and make you feel at ease the best they can.  The campus is beautiful and they have some pretty new and top of the line facilities.  They don't try to put on a show or anything and they are just unique in how genuine and authentic they are.

Hey all...I'm a second year student in the program and just wanted to hop on to say if anyone has any questions that they want answered from a PA student perspective feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer! Feel free to message as well (You are also welcome to express your stresses and I can try to console you because I've been in your shoes)

Overall, Lipscomb's been a good place with good people and giving us an excellent education along with useful experiences--can't beat that :)

Hey all! I was just invited to interview on either Jan 3 or Feb 6. How fast does the committee get back with the applicant once the interview has been conducted?

Does the program start in August or October?

Hey there! I’m currently a first year PA-S in Lipscomb’s class of 2021. We had a 3 day orientation at the end of August and started classes at the beginning of September, the day after Labor Day! Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions!

I had to cancel my interview for 11/8 due to being accepted somewhere close to home. It was very last minute so I hope somebody will be able to utilize the open slot! Good luck!
