2full2eat
How exact do I have to be when putting in my HCE hours into CASPA? Im kind of ball parking it from averaging the hours I worked each week and multiplying it out by the number of months/weeks etc. Also if I was to end up with a number like 479.5, is it safe to round up, or should I round down. How serious is this? Thanks
dkwee
Accurate enough so that when they call the supervisor number you listed, they will agree. Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk
IdahoPA
I had to guesstimate since my hours were from my military duty. I made a handy Excel sheet divided by month that listed the appropriate number of hours I thought I worked. It would be extremely hard to verify since no one else has a copy of my schedule (we never even printed them up). That being said, I made sure to be conservative rather than overestimate to try and get an accurate and fair total. In a civilian job, you should have time stubs or whatever you use. You could divide your paycheck (which online banking/bank notices/tax paperwork would be a record of) and get a pretty close guess. I wouldn't worry about half an hour...that's not going to make or break anything. Though 480 looks better, I'd round down just to be safe.
