RashelPreRTPrePA
Hello all! So i was deciding between RN school and Respiratory Therapy school (If i get into RT school that will be my deciding factor because it starts first) for my bachelors because i know you need a bachelors degree in order to apply to any PA program. I just enrolled in Medical Terminology and A&P 1 through Doane Online. Has anyone on here taken classes throughout doane? Are they passable? When do you find out what books you will need? And how are the labs set up?
mooredc
There are multiple threads regarding Doane's program if you search for it. However in short, it is a phenomenal program. From my experience the text book was an online book included in the course.
Jawn_Snow
I've also heard great things about Doane. I'm going to be taking a couple classes from there this summer. Also, I'm a RT of almost 4 years. I would choose nursing if given the option. Although I've gained a ton of experience as an RT and I feel I'm in a great position for PA school, the options as an RN are endless. You may decide down the road you want to pursue NP, CNRA, etc. And you can still do PA as an RN.
