I am a current PA-S1 at South University in WPB, Florida. I am planning on moving back to MN after graduation, so I want to do my electives there. I’m super interested in OB/GYN, specifically Labor + Delivery. If anyone is willing to take me for 5 weeks or knows of anyone please reach out!
My program has our last quarter between my longest break in my curriculum, and my first rotation. This break is slowly creeping up on me soon so I was wondering what anyone suggested students should do during this break in terms of clinicals? Since it's three weeks, should we be preparing more than resting? I was going to do some major wedding planning before getting back in but is there anything else rotation related I should take into consideration, knowing the only other break is only a week long prior to my first site?
I live in Carrollton but attend PA school in Nashville and am set to graduate in December. I had a rotation set up by my teacher that she had secured through a prior affiliation agreement. However, there was some miscommunication and it seems that my previous rotation site is no longer available. I was wondering if you are aware of any preceptorships from 09/13/21 to 10/15/21? Being that this is my elective, I feel that the terms are pretty broad so I have a lot of flexibility where I can work and no real preference. I know that an affiliation agreement is needed but my teacher informed me that generally she can get that done very quickly. Thank you for any information in advance.
I am currently in my third semester of didactic year and will be starting clinical rotations in the fall. My family is moving to Tampa and I was hoping to get a rotation set up in the area. I am looking for a preceptor in family or internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral, women's health, or emergency medicine.
If you know any contacts or other forums I could reach out to please let me know, thank you!
Hello everyone! I am in my 2nd semester of PA school and am in search of preceptors in my area. I live in Greenville, SC and currently commute to Hendersonville, NC for class which is about 40 minutes each day. Because of this, I am really hoping to find preceptors closer to home.
I am currently in search of any preceptors in Greenville, Travelers Rest, Greer, Mauldin, Easley, Powdersville, Taylors, and really anywhere in the north west South Carolina area!
If you or anyone you know is interested in taking on a PA student who is super eager to learn and be in the upstate area, please let me know!
Thank you so much.
