Class of 2014!

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

does anyone know if we can just walk into the financial aid office to meet with a financial aid counselor or do we need have an appointment? I've tried calling the FA office and have emailed Melissa Contreras, but so far have not had any luck getting any response.

thanks in advance,

Minh (Claire) Nguyen

Yes, you can just walk in and wait to talk to a financial aid officer. I just did that on Monday. Nothing we can really do until August. Unless you have required documents required. Log into webadvisor and look under the financial aid heading; then under that is required documents. If you don't have anything needed they you are good until August.

Another website that is linked to your FAFSA or financial aid is https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action. That's where you will do your loan entrance and exit counseling. I don't recall when you do the entrance counseling, but you do the exit upon leaving the school. FYI if any of you plan on doing the Master's through Saint Francis (I am), your loans your second year will come from SFU, not MVC.

And, lastly, the Sallie Mae website where you can check the status of your loan disbursement: https://bosebill.salliemae.com/NetPay/Templates/1215/frameset1215.html . There you can sign up for the Sallie Mae debit card as well.

Hello PA-S,

FYI: I just ordered the list of textbooks for the Fall/2012 from the Welcome PA Package received on Friday, 06/15/2012. The cost was $591.00 for 4 classes (PHT 1, PHT 2, PHT 3 & PHT 22A) from Amazon website. Again, there will be addition fee ($$$) for the materials/supplies, which will be distributing on the orientation. The textbooks are required on the 1st day of class.

PS...Health Screening/Examination Form due on 07/31/2012 by 5:00 PM..!
