PA8394
What kind of laptop do you guys recommend for PA school?
JD2012
Any of them work as long as it meets minimum requirements. You don't need anything fancy.
PA8394
Thank you! What would you recommend is the best device to take notes on though?
Blynn12
Probably dependent on how your program distributes materials. My school used power points for all lectures and most everyone just took notes on each slide and then made study guides in Word.
Natalie2018
My program also had all lectures distributed via PowerPoint, I didn’t like printing out that much material, or having to dig through paper notes to review something I had jotted down. So I bought an iPad and the Apple Pencil (pricey but absolutely worth it for me) and used notability to take notes. Downloaded all the PowerPoints into notability organized by topic and took hand written notes with my Apple Pencil during class. I am able to go back and search my notes and also have the notes on my MacBook and phone so I can review them wherever I am.
