Guest HanSolo
I did a January start. You're 2/3 of the way through didactic year before the vast majority of other applicants from your cycle start. I turned down what would have been a "better fit" to save 8-9 months of "waiting around." I have no regrets at all. You'll also likely graduate at a time when there aren't a flood of new graduates applying for jobs.
Guest thatgirlonabike
I'm stressing a lot about a Jan start. I have an interview for one. It's a program that I really like but there's another one that I really want to know more about and see the campus. I feel like if I don't get an interview with the other program by the end of Oct and I am accepted into the Jan one it will be too late even if I get accepted in Nov/Dec. I will already have begun to uproot my entire life and will be on a path of no return.
