jakeandreasen7
Hello all! I recently got an interview to a school whose admission stats said the following “Over 600 applications were submitted with over 400 considered for an interview”. Kind of a weird question but I was wondering if the whole “considered for an interview” portion means. Is this supposed to mean that they invited over 400 people to interview? For only a 25 seat class I feel as if this is a very high number though this is my first application cycle so what do I know? Is this numerical value of interviews normal? Or am I misinterpreting what they are saying?
Bubbles
I think they are staying 400 were complete (had all the required materials, prereqs, etc) and considered for interview. The other 200 were rejected/incomplete. I don’t think all 400 were extended an interview invitation.

This is what I assumed, but I just wanted to be sure! I imagine the normal interview number for 25 seats is around 100 or so? The PA I shadowed once told me that if you are offered an interview that "you have made it in the top 90%". If this is true or not I don't know! UGoLong
At our place, maybe 800 valid applicants for 50 seats. 4 or 5 days of 50 interviews per day.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
