How to raise a current 2.6 science gpa?

Recommended Posts

I currently have graduated from a local cc with a 3.5 gpa, a CASPA calculated gpa of 3.8. But, when I calculated my science gpa with the 4 classes I had taken my science gpa is only a 2.6. I am transferring to a university in the fall as a junior. Is there any way I can bring up my science gpa or compensate for it with HCE or potential GRE scores?

Thanks!

No amount of PCE or GRE scores will compensate for not meeting the minimum sGPA requirements. You'll get auto denied if you applied with that sGPA. The only way to bring up your sGPA is to get A's in all of your science classes from now on. There are a few schools that have a minimum of 2.75, but a majority are 3.0 and above. You've only taken 4 sciences, so it'll be easier to raise your sGPA.
