2018-2019 application cycle!

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I have classmates who heard back in April and May and one who got accepted a month before the program started (not common, but it happens) so don't lose hope if you haven't been accepted. I would be more than happy to answer any questions that anyone may have.  Feel free to send me a message if you'd prefer.

I called an UTRGV graduate admission specialist. She said as long as we have all the documentation ready, we should receive the letter soon. They are still working in the letters for students starting graduate college for Spring 2019.

what do you mean paper work? 😕 what do we need to have ready?

Has anyone that hasn't heard back emailed them to ask the status? I will likely send a email to Christopher tomorrow since the next cycle is almost opening

I emailed him last week and have had no response. I haven't had any contact from them since my interview so it's a little concerning. I assume they are waiting until their class is full to send out all rejections.

To those waiting to hear back, I have some information for you.  In the most recent email from Chris Dennett he says, "We needed to make some adjustments, and have decided as a department to increase your class size from 80 to 100! We are still pending a few seat offers and decisions at this time. Instead of waiting for a complete roster, I have decided to send you all your Welcome Packets".  This was sent a few days ago. The due dates for many of the forms in the welcome packet are March 29th. Hope this helps!

I suppose that email was only sent to accepted students right?
