I also just got accepted yesterday to my top choice school so I will be giving up my seat and I will not be reaching out to her anymore. However, some people will give up seats and choos other programs. They should be sending out an email towards the end of December letting everyone know if you're on the waiting list or was just not offered a seat in the program!
