Has anyone that has been accepted uploaded the immunizations through castle branch? How official do they have to be? For example my pcp printed off my NC immunization records that only pcp's can access but they aren't signed or stamped. Would these be accepted/official? And I got my others from the hospital where I work which has a whole list of what I have and when I got them but it's also just a printout of a list of shots. Does it need to be provider signed or is the printout alone sufficient?

I was just planning on submitting the printout because I am doing it the same way you are from my hospital! If they don’t accept it, then I plan to go into my PCP and seeing if they will sign the information! Hopefully they will just accept the sheets!

I uploaded mine without any signature and it was accepted!

I will be giving up my seat as I have been accepted to a school closer to home. Congrats to everyone who has been admitted so far and good luck to those waiting to hear. I hope my space goes to one of you!

Got pulled off the waitlist yesterday!!!

Me too, what a relief! It seems surreal that in three months it'll be starting. Congrats, fellow classmate of 2021!

I truly do understand how a school can just fill all of their sports before the deadline is even close. I submitted my application August 1st with it being all verified have not even been considered. I would at least would have like to have been looked at to be waitlisted.

Did you call or email them to follow up on not hearing anything? I did that with one program, and they said they had just missed my application. After I emailed them, I heard back in like 2-3 days

Just 2 follow up. I contacted them. I got a response in about 2 dats: my application was still under review,  there is a November interview date and seats are open.

I hoped for more, but that was nice to hear and impressive that time was taken to find my application.

Best of luck

Many schools won't contact you at all unless they are offering you an interview or sending a rejection. Often times a school may not even be actively considering you but won't send out rejections until months later after all interviews are complete and the class is full, but no email doesn't necessarily mean you aren't being considered. I applied to 8 schools and thus far was offered an interview at 3, rejected from 1, and had heard nothing at all from the other 4 and I submitted in May. I applied to Cornell and for months people have been offered supplementals and then interviews and I heard nothing and assumed I didn't make the cut and was no longer being considered and just hadn't yet been informed. But last week I received a supplemental. Moral of the story, no news doesn't necessarily mean bad news. Hang in there and wait until an official letter before you assume you aren't being considered, because you never know! Best of luck!

Thanks so much! I am new to all of this. Definitely should have done more research.

Does anyone know how many interviews they have this year? Also, how many applicants are at each interview? It appears that the waitlist is going to be huge! Am I the only one who feels this way?

I haven’t seen a single person post they’ve been rejected. I wonder if anyone not accepted from the interview just automatically gets put on the waitlist?

Hello everyone! I am currently a PA student at South University. First of all, I'd like to congratulate those that have been accepted!! You are in good hands 🙂 And good luck to those who have landed an interview!

The purpose of this message is to reach out to the incoming class and offer myself as a future roommate! I lived through my first year alone at The Flats Apartments at West Broad Village (which are the apartments that are walking distance from South University). It was a bad decision to live alone. The prices were ~$1,500/per month without utilities (yikes). However, my lease ends on January 10, 2019. If anyone wants to lease a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and save a lot of money, please reach out to me! Private message me and we can exchange contacts. 2 bedroom apartments start at $1,600 (so splitting that cost would be so worth the money to live here!).

That is all I wanted to ask. Can't wait to meet you guys! Tip: I recommend creating a GroupMe chat with your cohort, we use it all the time to keep in touch, ask questions, help each other, etc. You guys will be in each other's faces for 40+ hours a week for the next 15 months, so better get used to it! Feel free to private message me if you have questions about South University, its PA program, or anything else as well. It's an amazing program with great faculty!

Side note: I am a guy (if that is a factor in making your decision; however I am open to anyone!).

***I need to make a decision in 30 days***
