So incredibly excited to say that I was just offered a seat! I interviewed on 10/16! Go bulls!!! And good luck to everyone!

I just got a call from Dr. Wills offering me a seat into their Class of 2019! I'm beyond words right now!

So excited to say I was accepted today! I cancelled my NOVA interview so hopefully I give someone else a spot there!

his is my first time applying and I am really scared if I'll get in:

Overall GPA: 3.3

Science GPA: 3.12

GRE : 300

HCE: Over 2000 hours as a medical assistant and PA shadowing around 150 hours

LOR: Orthopedic surgeon, PA (alumna), and professor

Personal statement: Very personal and positive reviews by many

good chance or don't bother?

Honestly? You should definitely go for it!!

You seem to have a lot of hands on experience (and highly marked experience at that). Don’t doubt yourself! You got this!

I have similar stats to you. Even though my GPA isn’t the best, there was a considerable upward trend in my final years. I think that counts for something, at least I’m hoping it does.

Also, don’t get discouraged. This is my second year applying and I’m more excited now that I have a better handle on the application process.

My app was verified on 5/21 and I got their email stating that it was being reviewed and I’m pretty nervous about the whole thing. If anyone is reading this that was accepted from the last cycle, could you possibly tell me if my stats might be seen as competitive? The statistics about GRE scores on the website made me a little less confident

undergrad: B.S. Radiologic and Imaging Sciences

cGPA:3.62

sGPA: 3.5

GRE:307 AW 3.5

PCE: 5200 hours as a rad tech at a hospital(x ray and CT)

shadowing: 40 hours between 2 ED PA’s and 40 with an ED MD

LOR: 1 from a PA, 1 from an MD, 1 from my supervisor and 1 from my radiography program director
