pangea355 Posted May 21, 2018 I have been browsing the forum, mainly looking into pre-req information and see a lot of mention of UNE. I have non-science BA and MA degrees and therefore need to do all the pre-reqs. I was looking at local CC and also extensions from the University of California system. Much of my work will need to be online for the time being. Some extension courses are ~600 each and some are ~1050 (per 3 units). Why is UNE such a favorite here?
mooredc Posted May 21, 2018 I for one had a horrible experience at UNE and think that Doane University's online health prerequisite program is significantly better.
pangea355 Posted May 21, 2018 Author I didn't realize there were entire online health pre-req programs. I just looked at their online bio w/ lab. Do PA schools accept these? (I know, look at each school's website).
TheFatMan Posted May 22, 2018 Most schools accept them, best to contact them individually. I had a PA school that recommended UNE to me, so I suppose it doesn't hurt taking classes that PA schools are familiar with.
