Fizzassist
Does anyone have thoughts or insight about CASPer (the supplemental application required by 10ish programs)?
joeymccracken
Bumping this post. I am also curious about CASPer. I believe it is part of the supplemental application for Campbell University.
Fizzassist
I am amused that only a handful of programs use this application yet 4(!) of the programs I am applying to are among them. This being the case, I hope to do well, but I wish I understood more about how it is scored.
jplmedic
Also curious if anyone can offer input, 2 of the programs I am interested in require it.
Lizli1
It's basically a situational judgement test. You are given 12 scenarios and 5 minutes to answer 3 questions about each scenario (in essay/short answer form). I just took it in early May as 4 of the schools I'm applying to required it. They say it takes about 2-3 weeks for schools to receive your results. Each of the 12 questions is graded by a different person so personal bias is avoided. My best advice would be to do some practice questions online (there are a lot), and be honest and true to yourself when you answer the questions. Hope this helps! eighthnote24
Interesting....If you are applying to more than one school that requires it, does it charge you an additional fee for each or just one fee that covers all? How much is the fee?
Lizli1
So there's a 10 dollar fee to take the test plus another 10 dollars for each school you send it to. You results are only good for one application cycle, and you will never see your score!
EMILY8899
Does anyone know if you can add a school later on, or do you need to provide a list in the beginning. So far I have one school that requires this.
Burritobenito
Took the CASPer, reminded me of situational interview questions they give you. No idea what my score is but one of the schools I sent it to offered me an interview so I guess I did aight.
