2018-2019 Application cycle

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to those getting interviewed and those who got rejection, don't lose hope. This is part of the process.

I'll be at the meet and greet on Oct 2nd. And if any of you are veteran let me know. We have arranged for at least one of us to be at the meet and greet to answer veteran related questions.

See you guys here. Bring your a game but don't worry, it will be as relaxing setting as it can be. ?

Thanks for the information. Just curious. Was placed in the queue in early July and haven’t heard anything at all since.

I was placed in queue July 17 and still have not heard anything in either direction. You’re not alone!

How do you know if your application has been placed in queue?  When I log in to my supplemental application is only says "submitted".

Hey everyone! I submitted by supplemental during the second week of July. Is it safe to say that no news is good news at this time?

I sure hope so!

Hi there @PAtobe615 I'm in the same boat. Have you already emailed for a status update?

@Stanfordman84 I have not emailed them to ask yet no, if that is what you are asking

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I was curious if you had emailed the admissions contact person. I figure I'll do so just to see if there's any possibility for an interview or if I should just move on. I was holding out hope that no news was technically good news but it's getting late in the year so time to be more proactive.

I know I said this to someone else, but I want to reiterate it. Hopefully it will ease your mind a bit. I got my interview invitation November 6th last year, and I wasn’t even in the last group invited! Time is still your friend.

Me! I'm so excited! Nervous too, but that's to be expected ?

I am also nervous, haha. I went and walked around Durham and tried some funky food to kind of shake it off earlier. I walked by the PA program building so I would know where it was at and saw the applicants coming out for the day...then got nervous all over again ?

Thanks @Piperpottamus.That is quite late yet it does ease my mind. With some other schools getting back to me with acceptances it just adds a little urgency. I really appreciate your input

I’m in the same boat too. Seat deposits are pricey!

Same boat here!  I can't afford to put a deposit down everywhere either, lol.
