Hey!! Are you familiar with how they'll conduct interviews this year? I got invited to the June 22nd interview today, and was told there's one group interview and one individual interview. Any suggestions on how to prepare for the group interview? Any specific content to focus on? Anything helps with it being only 11 days away [emoji846] Thanks!

Congrats on the invite! Do you mind sharing your stats?

@hmyer Congrats on the interview! I’ll be seeing you next Friday! For everything that day, don’t be nervous and just be yourself. It’s a day for the staff to get to know you better. They have seen your application and how you are on paper, but now they want to get to know you! Answer all the questions honestly. So, just be yourself and stay relaxed!! If you have any other questions, let me know!

Has anyone gotten a confirmation email or anything from Dominican? I haven't heard anything.

Once my CASPA was verified, I received a confirmation email from them about 4 hours later saying that my app was under review. That was 6/28.

Of those who've been offered an interview is there anyone willing to share their stats?

3.47 overall GPA, 3.39 sGPA

4,000+ patient care experience hours as a PCT and phlebotomist

GRE: V 152, Q 157, AW 4.5

100 hrs PA shadowing

Hope this helps! I applied here last year, with the same GPA, fewer patient care hours and a lower GRE and did not receive an interview

Has anyone submitted recently and did not receive a confirmation email from them? I was verified on 6/23 and haven't received any email from them.

I haven't received anything from them either and I was verified on 6/4. I left a voice mail for the admissions office last week but have not heard back.

My name is Mahlia, this is my 3rd time applying to UW and first time being invited to interview.
I would love to get to know some of my future peers and fellow interviewees through this forum. I was also wondering what the interview experience was like for those who interviewed last year via zoom. Was a same small group interview style used? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hello everyone, on behalf of the CSOM PA Club, I'd like to invite you to attend our PA club hours hosted every Thursday at 12:30 PM via zoom. These 1-hour sessions are hosted by current PA students and we answer prospective students' questions about our journey into PA school, the CASPA application, pre-requisites, etc. It is an informal environment in which you can come ask all the questions you have and have a feel for what the future might look like for you. If interested, please fill out the attached form and email it back to us at csompaclub@gmail.com at the beginning of the week corresponding to the session you like to attend in order to confirm attendance and receive the meeting link. We look forward to seeing you there.

      Hi guys,
I didn't see a new thread. Hope this helps you guys. Just like in previous years they are moving forward, but it may look a bit different because COVID seems to be slowing down. Here's the email I received on 5/11/2021. I submitted my application on 5/3/2021 and verified on 5/11/2021.
Thank you for applying to the Radford University Carilion PA program. This email is to let you know that your application is complete, has been marked as "Verified", and we have received your RU supplemental application. Your application will be put in a queue to be reviewed. You may still provide updates to your application through the CASPA website.
Once applications are reviewed, we will make decisions on whom to interview. Our earliest interview dates will be in September. As we don't yet have exact dates selected for interviews, we will likely make offers for interviews in early July at the soonest.
We will send out periodic updates to keep you apprised of your status. However, with the necessary changes in how we accomplish our tasks, those updates may not be as frequent as we would like them to be. We are happy to answer any questions that come up, and you are welcome to email me at rhadley1@radford.edu.
      Thank you,
      Bob Hadley
