Personal statement

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

I'm only applying to couple schools this cycle since I switched from PT to PA, so I still have some classes for PA to take. But my question is about my personal statement. I think I have a pretty good chance of getting in with my 3.7 GPA, over 2,000 hours of patient care, and about 100 hours of volunteer events, BUT I'm still freaking out!!! My GRE was not the best and I've always really struggled with standardized tests and it's very expensive to keep retaking it. I guess I'm just wondering if I should somewhere explain my GRE score in my personal statement. I'm just so much more than this GRE score which has nothing to do with my science knowledge or background of working in outpatient settings and in the hospital as a tech for almost three years now. Please, any advice is greatly appreciated!
