Wellness
So last semester I used a simple excel spreadsheet as a budget mechanism, but it didn't help me keep track of my budget on the go, and it's not exactly the most time-savvy way to budget. I was wondering if anyone had any budget app suggestions to help me categorize my semester budget (ie food, rent, gym, etc.). I'm all about keeping those loans as low as possible. Thanks in advanced! MT2PA
I love mint.com (not an advertisement). Not sure if it's what you're looking for but it is very comprehensive (app and website)
ajames
Mint is okay but I also use the excel spreadsheet. I budget weekly which is extreme but has been effective for keeping on track each week and understanding influx of money and when things are due. I would really like something to input numbers and titles and have it add or subtract accordingly. Mint shows me where my money is going but it doesn't have the spreadsheet tools that I like. Anyone have other apps they use? I considered buying one too..

I can't recall specifics as to why I didn't like it, so I might as well give it another try. I do like the flexible excel spreadsheets offer, but it's still a lot of work on the users part. TheFatMan
Try everydollar. It is Dave Ramsey's app and pretty good IMO.
