PA & NP salary

Recommended Posts

Hi gang!

We're running into some comp structure issues at my company and while the AAPA report can be helpful, I'm not sure how truly reflective it is of our pay. If any of you wouldn't mind, we'd appreciate any input you have to offer regarding your comp! remember the average age and years of experience is very low in the AAPA poll

Just had it tried to be used against me in my job, and pointed out that not only were they using national figures and locally they are 40% higher, they also are comparing me (at almost 50 with 16+ years of experience and a DFAAPA) with the AVERAGE for someone 6 years out (or something like that as the AAPA data......

Rule #1, know your local market

Rule #2, know your data

Rule #3, know your value - and yup that can trump Rule #1-2...
