I am just curious... those of you that do depositions/case-review... How did you get involved?  I have searched all over google, and can't seem to find any opportunities to do this type of review.  With young children at home I figured it would be a nice way to earn some extra money without having to leave the house...

Thanks

I just started doing occupational medicine, and I was subpoenaed about a year in for my first one.  I seem to be doing a deposition once every 4-6 months, and for each deposition I do, there's another one scheduled but cancelled because a settlement has been reached.  If I were doing 100% injured workers, I expect I would have 4x as many depositions.  Thus, they're a relatively rare thing, and I'm OK with that.  I like the fact that I bring in a big pile of money to my practice at once, because it's highly visible.
