Interested in dermatology pa or np?

Recommended Posts

I am interested in dermatology and was wondering which will provide a better likelihood to be able to work in a dermatology clinic or does it really matter between np and pa

Real medical derm or the esthetic crap? You'd likely develop much better procedural competence in PA school. Although shave and punch biopsies are not really too complicated.

there are PAs out there doing full scope derm with transflaps, etc. Do a search for Joe Monroe, PA. he is an old school derm PA who teaches at a derm md residency program.
