PA owned practices that work 8 months out of the year, travel the rest?

I have never heard of this or anyone doing it but is it possible to have your own practice or maybe a joint partnership with another PA or Doctor and work every other 4 months out of the year? I'm not lazy... just thought I would dare ask a crazy question. Thanks!

eliseomagallon I totally agree and feel that this would be a great way to live. If you hear of anyone accomplishing this please inform me. I have been a PA for 12 years and unfortunately I have reach the panicle of salary and position. Owning my own practice would be a great career move if I was able to balance it with a great social life as well.

yeah practice ownership is NOT easy
