MCHAD Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 It depends heavily upon when your previous schools send transcripts and whether or not you filled out everything correctly, some schools only mail out transcripts once a week and some people don't realize this... bcordoba Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 My LORs and transcripts had already been received by CASPA before I submitted the application so I think they're just taking longer with GPA verification this year... :( I called today and they said it's taking over 2.5-3 weeks!!! I hope they get done by end of August since some of the deadlines are Sept. 1. when i click on gpa calc tab nothing comes up, thats what it is suppose to be like, right? CASPA told me yesterday that I'm not missing anything and I'm in line to be verified (I was getting a little worried). They told me it takes longer if a lot of people submitted on the same day as you, but I can't figure out why people who submitted after us are already verified. I would assume they calculate gpa's going straight down the list of when it was submitted. Does anyone know if they only mail out on Fridays? karri4040 Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 If I remember correctly, once you're verified the schools you designated can access your application online at any time. They only send out hard copies of applications on fridays, and I've heard of people who were verified on a thursday but didn't make it into that friday's mailing, they went out the following week.
