wck2010 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I was on academic probation at the end of my didactic portion of PA school (did well clinical year and graduated successfully). Currently studying for the PANCE and beginning application for state licensure (California). As PA programs are required to disclose this type of information to the licensure board, and assuming I pass the PANCE, will my past history of academic probation deter me from getting a California license? SHU-CH Posted November 18, 2017 Share Posted November 18, 2017 I've probably reported about 2 dozen instances through the years. Never heard of a single student having a hitch getting licensed. You program will note that you were on probation ofr a while but returned to good standing and successfully completed the program. That is what counts...
