Guest hcruz496
I am starting PA school this summer. I am wondering, since I will be living off of student loans, how hard is it to get an apartment? Do most require a co-signer? Were you required to put down a larger deposit? Student loans are considered income by most rental companies. You'll probably have to show proof of loans (just like you'd have to show a paystub if you had a job) but it's generally not an issue. My wife rented a very nice apartment for 2 yr while in PT school and had no income besides loans
UGoLong
Many programs can help you find local apartments. When you start, other students will be finishing. I have not seen living on student loans be a barrier to renting, at least around where I’ve been.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
