Professional Transcript Entry

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I ordered PTE and sent all of my transcripts to Caspa this summer.  They were all received by July and that is also when I ordered PTE.  But I'm confused on how the process works. They don't start entering your coursework until you submit your application, right? But you can't submit your application until every section is complete... I tried to review and verify my coursework, but none of my courses are listed yet so it's impossible for me to complete the "transcript" part of the application.

Please help!

From my understanding, I believe you can submit for at least 1 program that does not require you to designate prereqs? And then after they finish the transcript entry, you can approve or dispute their results?

The CASPA Help section states:

"You'll receive a notification once your PTE is complete. You should then review the coursework entered by our staff to make sure it is accurate and approve the entry. You should also designate any required prerequisite courses in the Program Materials section before approving the entry.

If you find any issues with the coursework entry, email customer service to determine how to proceed. Wait for corrections to be confirmed and implemented before approving the coursework entry."

...I would suggest calling them if the information presented in their link doesn't help you:

Hey everyone, I am putting together my application for the upcoming cycle. I am at the part where I am inputting my transcript and can't figure out how to classify some courses taken as part of my Health Sciences major which kind of 'umbrellas' subjects under health care.
The course in question is: Marketing in Healthcare.
My dilemma is classifying this under either:
Health Science Marketing Health Science Administration Please help 🙃

CASPA failed to process my application before the deadline of October 1. They apparently had an issue processing the COVID—19 Transcript Delay Form. I checked in both through phone and email, and still, they failed to verify prior to the deadline. I submitted all material July.
has anyone else had this issue?

      Hi All!
I am a graduate student in public health and have worked with providers to inform patient care plans as well as screen patients for adverse childhood experiences, resiliency, quality of life, etc... I have not been an EMT, CNA, Aid, or other roles that are usually seen with direct patient care experience for PA schools. I have already submitted my application, but after attending an information session I am nervous that schools will not count my public health hours as patient care (I made the mistake of listing them as health care experience and not patient care experience). Does anyone have any thoughts on this process? I have already reached out to one school directly and added the experiences as patient care experience in CASPA (it lets you do this even after submission, but I do not know what happens next). I do have a lot of healthcare experience and research experience. Have anyone else added experiences after they submitted? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to private message if that is better for you. Thanks so much! I really appreciate any support with this!

I received my BS from a Pass/Fail university. On the official transcript it states pass or fail by the course. Student records states that this equates to a 3.0 GPA. I contacted a PA school about applying to the program and I was told that this  type of transcript will not be accepted by CASPA. However, I read on a forum that someone had a pass/fail transcript and was selected in to the program. How do a I overcome that?
