Does anyone know anything about the class sizes at uop?

I believe the class size is 45.  If you visit the website, under the FAQ on the very last question they talk about how many seats are available for them to fill.  Hope this helps!

I will be interviewing at UOP on March 21st. Does anyone know if UOP's current students host a social the night prior? I live in Sacramento, and I don't mind meeting up to get to know one another before the big day (after all, we might be future classmates).

: )

Good luck!

My interview is on March 21st, but I can meet up just to chit-chat since I live in Sacramento. Message me what your plans are, please.

Is tomorrow the first round of interviews?  Good luck everyone! I'll be there next week for mine.

According to the faculty, those who interviewed today (02/07) were the very first interviews of this cycle.

What is the dress code? Business casual? I'm interviewing tomorrow if anyone wants to grab dinner or a drink afterward!

See you tomorrow!

When did you two interview!? Congrats on the acceptance! Did they mention anything else about other early acceptances being sent out or is that it?

I interviewed yesterday, February 8th.  During the presentation I think they said early acceptances would be sent out the end of this week and/or next week.

How was the interview format for those who already interviewed(I don't need details)? I've already been through a couple but both were half day interviews, I can't imagine what they do for a whole day!

Hi everyone! I just got my interview date for March 19.

Anyone have tips or suggestions? What about appropriate dress code?

Based on my other interview at a different school, if it's a whole day, remember to bring granola bars and water. You'll be glad you did toward the end of the day, especially if you need that extra energy to ace your interview if that aspect is scheduled later. IT'S TRUE, BE FRIENDLY ALL THE TIME. PA schools are trying to create a cohort of students that can work well together. Dress code should be business attire.

Invitation to interview received for Tuesday, March 6th!

Although I will not be accepting the invitation to interview, I would like to wish many blessings to the next candidate receiving the invite.

Keep thriving, everyone!

Hello everyone! This is my first time on PA forum. I applied in December and still waiting on word for an interview. I am a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. For the people who had interviews, how was the format?

I have been fortunate enough to be accepted into two programs and need some help making my decision! They are both relatively new CA programs.

MBKU is on its fourth class and has 100% first year PANCE pass rate. Their program is very family/collaberative oriented. Great people, and great organization of curriculum. And they are currently remodeling a building for PA students' use. Downside is I do not care for the location (farther from family and the LA can be stressful for me), and they are predominately an optometry school.

On the other hand, UoP just started the first year, no PANCE scores. But the staff is very distinguished and the school has proof of many other successful health care programs, you get some cadaver lab access, and the facilities are new and very high tech. Sacramento is also cheaper to live and closer to family. My main concern here is that the program is so new and still working out kinks. The class is also large (45) and I don't yet see that they promote as much of a family bond between students.

Generally I feel that MBK is a slightly better program, but UoP has a better location. Any advice is definitely welcome! If you had to make a decision between schools, how did you do it?

Hello everyone who are applying to the University of the Pacific PA program. It will be in Sacramento. Just thought I should start a thread for us.
I am re-applying to this program as a 2nd time applicant. Best of luck!
