Not a thing. I interviewed on 10/21 Thanks JTP123. Fingers crossed for all of us
Doppio_Espresso
Thank you JTP123! At this point, it does sound like everyone accepted have been notified.
DDoc-Skyline
I got my acceptance call on Friday from Adam. My interview date was 11/4.
Doppio_Espresso
@DDoc-Skyline Nicely done! It seems like Dominican really wanted you given your application timeline and notifications. Congrats.

Plus it is pretty close to where I live about 35 miles but will have to move anyway due to traffic in the mornings can make the trip 90-120min drive. JIschiu001
Did anyone else just receive an email with the final results?
Doppio_Espresso
I was recently placed on the waitlist. Does anyone know if this is ranked or how the program chooses from the waitlist when a spot opens up?
PAhopeful04
I also was placed on waitlist.
cperkins
Seems like everyone who interviewed either got waitlist or accepted into the program..Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

cperkins
Yeah.. when I asked for more details about the waitlist, adam said it was a "very select" list..That sounds like they ranked us based on points system and doesn't want to be honest and tell us :/Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
harden4mvp
Maybe. But it's still strange if they haven't actually denied anyone
cperkins
Yeah, I think that's the weirdest part too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
harden4mvp
$500 for every student accepting a spot on the waitlist.. versus getting nothing if denied..
cperkins
Hmm.. assuming a lot of people accept the waitlist and give $500, these students might get accepted elsewhere and will have to give up their waitlist seat, so then the school will pocket $500..Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mona_
I think because they’re a very new program, they won’t be rejecting anyone until the very end. They want to ensure they have a full class.
PAhopeful04
So no one has been rejected from the interviews?
harden4mvp
doesn't look like it, unless those denied haven't posted about it

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It was $1000 last year but by August next year if they don't offer you a seat you get refunded $500. If they offer you a seat and you decline, that's when you lose $500. Best case scenario you get accepted into DUC and the deposit goes toward your tuition. Doppio_Espresso
Considering they interviewed around 175 (conservatively), it doesn't make sense that they would waitlist 145 people. This would not be productive at all. Another question that may be worth considering is if anyone who interviewed has NOT heard anything.

cperkins
Waitlisting 145 will only increase their chances of accomplishing that. MAYBE by the time they start switching the candidates from waitlist to acceptance, these candidates have already accepted elsewhere. Since they waitlisted so many, like what Mona said, they want to ensure they have a full class.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doppio_Espresso
I would completely agree that they want to make sure their class is filled, but I don't think waitlisting anything above 50-70 is necessary. But, then again, they've been through it last year so they know what they're doing. I am still crossing my fingers and remaining optimistic. Gluck to us all on the waitlist. Kilian12
I am turning down my seat for this program, so I hope someone from the waitlist gets a happy call soon. :) It's such a beautiful place to go to school, and the staff seemed very nurturing.
