It's game day.

Are people going to bring their portfolio to the orientation day? Or just on interview day? Or neither? Thanks!

Also, I'd bring it today! I'm sure we're going to be going over a lot of information.

It was so great to meet all of you in Group C these two days!! A couple of interviewees and I are heading to Cyclone (Tex-mex) restaurant near Rice Village pretty soon (heading over now and staying for a while) if anyone wants to drop by! If not, hope everyone has a great day!

Just got the best phone call of my life!!!!!!
YAY!!! So excited for you! Would you mind sharing which group you were in and the first letter of your last name? Curious to know if they're going in order or not.

I mean any waitlist emails?

They don't send out waitlist until everyone has been called I'm pretty sure. That's how it was last year.

For those who have gotten calls, did Elizabeth say we would be receiving our official acceptance email later today? Or did she just say later? I think I was freaking out a bit too much and do not remember what she said lol

I haven't gotten anything yet. I guess no phone call yet means email to come soon :(

Don't say that! I'm in the same boat. They could still be working on the phone calls.

      Hello all,
I am a prospective MBKU applicant eager to apply this cycle (going on my second time now). I noticed nobody had created a thread for this years cycle, so I figured I would! I would like to know all the possible in's and out's of getting into this program and be able to help other do the same. I was waitlisted for an interview in the 2018-2019 cycle so I feel as though I am almost there! If anyone got an interview last cycle, has any advice or any questions, please don't hesitate to post in this thread! I will be doing my best to check daily and respond to posts as I am able. Best of luck everyone!

Can anyone who has been recently licensed by TMB give any input on the time frame? I was assigned a license analyst beginning of October, havent received any updates and it’s now the end of December.  I’ve called TMB many times and they said to contact the analyst for updates but haven’t heard back from her either.

      Hello!
As I come closer to making some tough decisions regarding programs, I am hoping to gather information and opinions from current students from the above programs or perhaps students who have interviewed at a combination of the above programs. More specifically, I am wanting to know if any students, interviewees, or alumni would be willing to share their personal experiences regarding 1) best and strongest aspects of the program 2) aspects that could be improved upon 3) level of support from faculty/program resources and 4) anything you were surprised about after matriculating into the program. I’d also like to know about any goofy things (location, parking, student perks) that you’d consider a plus or minus about the program.
I have interviewed and been accepted into two of these programs and interview at the third fairly soon. I really love each for different reasons...proximity to spouse, culture of the area, resources, etc., but find that having interviewed with so many programs back-to-back, I wish I would have conversed with current students during the interview day more extensively (interview and travel fatigue... 😶)
Anyhow, I would appreciate any and all comments.
      Thanks!
