Febrifuge Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Seconded. Went to my first SEMPA last year in Florida, and I'm all set for Tucson in March. Saving $100 a night on hotel, btw, by staying half an hour away at the Radisson, and renting a car. Cab fare from the airport to the Hilton Conquistador is around $50, so even with that I'm saving a fair bit. I guess the question comes down to whether your employer will reimburse if it's not "an NP thing" specifically, and/or if the credits will meet your CME requirements. medic25 Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 It's short notice, but if you've got some CME dollars and want to get away to somewhere tropical our Emergency Medicine Ultrasound faculty are hosting an EM Ultrasound course in Puerto Rico March 7-9th.
