Ms.PA-C
I am having a difficult time finding out the difference(s), if any, between a 1099 employee and an independent contractor. I am currently a military spouse and applying for my second job. From what I understand, it is possibly favorable that I do not require medical or dental care. How does that work in terms of negotiating a contract? In my first position, I was paid an hourly wage and received no fringe benefits. Thanks for your advice and feedback.
