I am curious to know if anyone has been rejected as well. This wait is torture. I am losing all hope as soon as I heard wind of interview wait list and didn't even get one of those. So depressing.

I understand how unbearable the wait is, but don't lose hope!! What helps me is no news is good news.

Hey everyone! Good luck to anyone who is interviewing this coming week! If anyone would like to meet up before the interviews (depending what day you arrive), send me a private message and we can arrange something! Also, I looked over my CASPA application (since it has been so long since I submitted it) and I noticed that I never uploaded any proof of having the required 2000 hours of health care experience. Were we required to upload it somewhere and I am missing something or are they going off of the honor system? If it is based off of the honor system, is anyone bringing a signature from a boss or anything to have proof of the hours?

Thanks in advance for your help! I look forward to meeting some of you next week!

Hey! They don't require any proof. I am brushing up for my interview and I watched the video on the RRCC website last night- she addresses that in there.

Good luck! :)

I have a question for any current student(s) in the program. What is the attrition rate like? Has anyone failed out/been dismissed due to academic performance from your class/cohort?

Hey there- current student. Not sure as we haven’t returned from winter break. prior to break we had one student leave for personal reasons. I’m fairly certain no one has been dismissed yet.

Hey guys! I'm a current student and just wanted to give some encouragement. Congrats to those who have already been accepted! I'm sure there are lots more calls coming out over the next few days.

If you get waitlisted, do not lose hope! I was waitlisted at all 3 schools I interviewed at. I started interviewing at schools in November 2016 and waited until July 2017 to hear that I had been pulled off the waitlist at Red Rocks. IT WAS GRUESOME. But when you finally get the call all of that fades away. I was number 5 on the waitlist at Red Rocks and got the acceptance call a month and a half before classes started. Waitlisting has nothing to do with what you offer as a candidate or individual, it is all part of the game. Keep your head up, keep going. It's worth it :)
