At my job they sent me an offer letter including the details of my hire such as salary and benefits which I signed saying I accept. No contract, I can leave anytime and they can fire me anytime. Been here over a year. Did you already discuss pay and benefits before agreeing verbally? After I agreed verbally I was sent the offer letter to sign on the same day.
