Hi everyone, I received my acceptance to Hofstra on 9/27! My application was received 5/30, interview invite 8/21, interviewed 9/20, accepted via email 9/27. The faculty/staff is very friendly and supportive, and I liked the integrated curriculum and diverse clinical rotation sites. To those still waiting-don’t ever give up! This was my second application cycle, and I am a non-traditional student (career changing at age 33!). I had previously been waitlisted at schools. During my interview I answered everything openly and honestly, and didn’t just give answers that I thought they “wanted” to hear. Trust me, I’ve gone through all the ups and downs that you’re going through, but eventually the hard work will pay off and be that much more rewarding! If I can do it, so can you!! Keep the faith and good luck to everyone :)

Although I am a little late, congratulations to everyone that has been accepted thus far. I was wondering if anyone knows of the housing options offered to Hofstra PA students. I did check the past threads but details pertaining to housing are extremely limited. I am interested in Hofstra but the commute/parking/housing are all really important aspects that needs to be considered since I am moving from California. Maybe current students or anyone on this thread can provide some insight.

@padreamteam No, I did not get interviewed by the director. I'm not sure if she interviewed anyone.. I got interviewed by two other faculties. Good luck!

Hey, I just saw your post.. I don't know if anyone helped you out yet but I was informed that the accepted students will get invited to a Facebook group where the upperclassmen will assist us with housing options. But this probably won't happen until towards end of the year or later.
