Hello,

I'm in Anchorage. I applied for the masters program. I've lived in fairbanks for the last 9 years but moved our family down last year so everyone could get settled in the hopes I will be accepted.

I have 4 kids between 3-9, my husband is our sole financial provider and moving is a multi year process for his job. I'm pretty anxious since I only applied to medex!

How about you?

Don't be to nervous even if you only applied to MEDEX. My wife applied twice just to MEDEX and got in the second. Right now I only plan on applying to MEDEX. Prepare your family now, I stayed in Fairbanks with our kids and this gave her plenty of study time. Plan to study a lot. We didn't speak with mom until she called us, usually on weekends because of the studying, practice exams that would go late into the evening. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hi,

Happy to hear someone from Anchorage, I am applying to the bachelor this year. MEDEX  was the only program I applied, I am nervous too. I am not married and I don't have children, I am an IMG waiting. It has been a long wait. I have not received interview invitation.

What about you, have you received something?

I've heard anchorage interviews the first weekend of December,  so I don't expect to hear anything until November.

I'm trying not to think about it! What is your background?

yes I heard the same about the interviews, I am medical international graduate and I am in the Health Sciences major. Me too, It is driving crazy just to think about it.

If you have any questions to help clam your nerves a bit, please ask! My wife was nervous the first time and herself the second. When I apply in 2022, I'm sure I will be the same way but going in with info about the interviews should help. It's a good program and time goes by quick. My wife is in her clinical rotations and sees something new every day. She is in Orthopedic surgery and is actually loving surgery. It will be a long hard journey but worth it!

Again congratulations to all those that earned an invite. Your hard work has paid off. Good luck going forward.

For all those, such as myself who may finally be accepting the fact that the email is stuck on the email server and just hasn’t come through yet, no matter how often we refresh our email accounts, does anyone know how many rounds of interview MEDEX has for the Spokane campus? I’m gathering possibly 2. Didn’t spend a lot of time sifting hoping someone may know.

I'm in the exact same boat 3 kids 1-8, one with special needs. I only applied to Medex (Spokane) for the purpose of keeping things consistent for my children. I submitted later in the application process. So if I even get an interview it would be the second round.

Good luck I hope you hear something soon!

They have two, I am also waiting as I only applied to MEDEX. My CASPA was verified later in the cycle, so I expected to interview (if at all) later in the process. Good luck I hope you hear back soon.
