Missiles launched at NCCPA

Bob I couldn't agree more. When you are an unopposed 800 pound gorilla there is nothing to restrain you and the NCCPA has demonstrated very clearly their willingness to damage the profession in order to protect their own interests and keep certification mandatory. Anyone who believes they won't do it again is kidding themselves.

You cannot be on the NCCPA board unless you agree you support what they do without question to the exclusion of all other interests. That is a frightening cult-like requirement in my mind. They say it won't happen again? Well then a competing organization would just help make sure rather than having to trust that they won't. Dr. Phil says the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

To date they have no reason to change their behavior and there is NO means of pressuring them for change. They have a strangle hold on the profession. A new certifying body with non-high stakes testing would very much ameliorate every issue.
