I will be working with several different docs in various specialty. My question is: how do I bill for a first assist when I do not work in the same practice as the surgeon I am assisting? AND If I have to bill under the surgeon, is there a problem for billing under them when we are not employed within the same company? Any insight, information or resource direction is appreciated.
