Just moved to Charlotte - weekend CT call or part-time?

Recommended Posts

I just moved to Charlotte from Dallas TX where I was a CT surgical PA for 4 years, proficient in hearts (EVH), vascular and lungs. I am a mom of 2 young boys, want to be home during the week while my husband works and wondering if anyone thinks there are opportunities to cover weekend call or 1 day/week still doing CT. I love hearts, and with young babies and a new place, would love to stay with the speciality and not have to jump into something brand new.

      Hi Everyone!
New grad currently negotiating part-time PA position in Family Practice. I've done clinical rotations and scribed at a Family Practice office in NYC and will be working part-time until I start a Residency program in the fall. Trying to figure out what I should expect in a part-time contract if anything in terms of benefits, PTO, CME, etc. Also, trying to discern if it is in my best interest to be a part-time employee or 1099.
      Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I’m a pre-PA student looking to shadow PA’s in Charlotte and surrounding areas if necessary. I’ve already reached out to the NCAPA and received a list of PA’s willing to allow students to shadow them and have had luck with 4 so far since the beginning of this year. I would love to get into the ED although I know it’s difficult with HIPAA. Surgery also interests me, but I’m really open to anything I haven’t seen already, which includes CT surgery, neurology, integrative oncology, and outpatient ortho. Please let me know of any opportunities out there, and thank you kindly in advance.
