pcho18
I've worked 3 years in Pennsylvania in family med/urgent care and will be moving back to Dallas TX in a few weeks. I've received a few offers in urgent care and would like to know if it is a decent offer. They are offering $100k to 105k /year salary with potential bonus, full health insurance, 15 days PTO, $1500 CME, 3 days off for CME and OT as desired on weekends. With 3 years experience, I was hoping for $110 - $120 range. Am I being unrealistic?
Lauren R
I think that is a good salary and benefit package, but ultimately all that matters is if that salary is worth it to you so that you can afford the things you want. You should negotiate with them if you're unsatisfied. Keep an eye out for other offers.
anewconvert
Ask for $115k and remember that the cost of living in Dallas area is not very high to start with. Worst they can do is say no
DizzyJ
What is average census? That is important when calculating pay.
Katera
How many shifts per month? Time and half on Holidays Also be VERY careful getting a salary vs per hour in UC. Not if, but when the late patients come in, you never leave on time.
pcho18
I ended up taking a job for $60/hr with monthly bonus based on volume. I'm shooting for $65/hr - just sent them an email.
