Drew_webb Posted October 18, 2016 I am currently an undergrad student who is on a pre-PT track but I have recently decided that I would rather go towards the PA profession and practicing medicine rather then rehab. I have done quite a bit of research on different careers and one thing that seems a little bit concerning is the time frame that people remain PAs. The AAPA website says that PAs usually experience at least one career change. Excluding lateral changes in specialties, what are careers that PAs typically switch to and why?
Natalie2018 Posted October 18, 2016 I'm not sure where on the AAPA website you found this/what the context was. I'm guessing they were referring to the fact that many PA students are pursing PA as a second career rather than certified PAs leaving the profession to do something else? I could be wrong though!
