PA School Prep

Recommended Posts

Hey PA-S',

Looong time member on the forum here.  I wanted to get your feedback on a project I've been working on for over a year now and whether or not it's something you would've found useful before matriculating.

When I started PA school, I quickly realized that I should have done a better job looking over my old A&P notes from undergrad.  The first few quarters are like drinking water from a firehose, right?  Granted, I made it through PA school, as have tens of thousands of other now-practicing PAs despite not having a formal study-regimen before school begins.  But without any "best" options out there for reviewing the information that would be most helpful, especially the first 2 quarters of school, I decided to take action and create something.

I'd really appreciate your feedback on the idea and whether or not you guys think this would've been beneficial before you started school!

Interesting idea. I'd have to look at the content to give actual feedback. And I'm sorry, I'm not paying a hundred bucks to tell you whether or not your site is good for a group of people I'm no longer a part of.

If it's $99 to beta test, how much do you intend to charge the actual users?

We're still trying to figure out how much to charge for the course while still keeping it accessible to pre-PAs.  We don't want to price anyone out because we really feel like this would be a valuable resource for students before school starts.  This way they would actually have some direction on how to prepare for the first semester/quarter.

Sent you a PM with a unique coupon code to check out the course for free.  I appreciate the feedback, thanks!

So, I've taken a look at the content. It's a good terminology and a&p refresher before starting school, which is the point. The slide shows and videos (the ones i watched at least) were clear and concise. I would have watched the content and taken the quizzes in the months leading up to starting school.

That being said, $99 is a bit steep for something not likely looked at in detail after the first few months of PA school. I would like to recommend a monthly subscription of $5-10 a month. I just couldn't recommend the content for the price.
